Aromatic Russet Apple
Aromatic Russet is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in England (before 1831). It was grown primarily for eating. Width 55 mm, height 50 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1860), painted by Amanda Almira Newton, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
