Ashmore is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in US (before 1840). It was grown primarily for cooking, eating. Width 85 mm, height 66 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1860), painted by Amanda Almira Newton, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
