Champion Apple
Champion is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Czechoslovakia (, introduced 1976). It was grown primarily for eating. P Golden Delicious x Cox Orange Pippin. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 3 watercolour studies (1840), painted by Deborah Griscom Passmore and Bertha Heiges, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
