Cheeseborough Apple
Cheeseborough is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in US (before 1840). It was grown primarily for cooking. One of the largest and one of the poorest of the russet. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1873), painted by Ellen Isham Schutt, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
