Collins is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Fayetteville, Arkansas, US (1885). It was grown primarily for eating. Width 78 mm, height 59 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 6 watercolour studies (1860–1882), painted by Amanda Almira Newton and Royal Charles b. Steadman, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
