Early Ripe is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Possibly Pennsylvania, US (before 1867). It was grown primarily for eating. Width 75 mm, height 59 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 5 watercolour studies (1873–1882), painted by Royal Charles b. Steadman and Elsie E. b. Lower, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
