Foundling Apple
Foundling is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Massachusetts, US (before 1820). It was grown primarily for eating. A medium to large apple. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study, painted by M. Strange, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
