Franklin Apple
Franklin is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Ohio, US (introduced 1937). It was grown primarily for eating. P McIntosh x Delicious. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1882), painted by Elsie E. b. Lower, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
