Fyan is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Missouri, US (introduced 1935). It was grown primarily for eating. P Ben Davis x Jonathan. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 2 watercolour studies (1873), painted by Mary Daisy Arnold and L.C.C. (Louis Charles Christopher) Krieger, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
