Haas Apple
Haas is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Missouri, US (before 1875). Fruit oblate-conic, ribbed, yellow with red flush. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 2 watercolour studies (1860), painted by Bertha Heiges and Amanda Almira Newton, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
