Harrison Apple
Harrison is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in New Jersey, US (1770). It was grown primarily for cider. Yellow skin, sometimes red-blush, black spots, small size, sweet, rich and dry. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1840), painted by Deborah Griscom Passmore, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
