Jefferies Apple
Jefferies is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Pennsylvania, US (before 1849). It was grown primarily for eating. Width 73 mm, height 53–57 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 3 watercolour studies (1873–1875), painted by Bertha Heiges and Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
