Joyce Apple
Joyce is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Ottawa, Canada (Raised 1898, selected 1912, introduced 1924.). It was grown primarily for eating. A green apple with red overcolor. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 3 watercolour studies (1873), painted by Mary Daisy Arnold and L.C.C. (Louis Charles Christopher) Krieger, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
