Linda is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Selected 1914. Introduced c. 1935). It was grown primarily for eating. A large apple. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1875), painted by Royal Charles b. Steadman, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
