Malinda Apple
Malinda is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Vermont, US (1860). It was grown primarily for cooking, eating. Small, conical with sheep's nose; deep, rich yellow with red spots possible. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 2 watercolour studies (1873–1882), painted by Mary Daisy Arnold and Elsie E. b. Lower, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
