Munson is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Possibly Massachusetts, US (before 1849). It was grown primarily for eating. Width 68 mm, height 55 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1875), painted by Royal Charles b. Steadman, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
