Oakland Apple
Oakland is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Michigan, US (before 1883). It was grown primarily for eating. Width 72 mm, height 58 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 3 watercolour studies (1838–1875), painted by William Henry Prestele and Royal Charles b. Steadman, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
