Ohio Nonpareil Apple
Ohio Nonpareil is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Ohio, US (before 1853). It was grown primarily for cooking, eating, drying. Width 95 mm, height 73 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study, painted by Bertha Heiges, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
