Pearl is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Essex, England (1983). It was grown primarily for eating. P Worcester Pearmain x Rival. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1873), painted by Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
