Perry Russet is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in US (before 1850). It was grown primarily for cooking, eating. Width 86 mm, height 64 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1873), painted by Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
