Ramsdell is a heritage apple cultivar from Connecticut, US. It was grown primarily for baking. Width 90 mm, height 89 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1860), painted by Amanda Almira Newton, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
