Red Winesap is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Yakima, Washington, US (Discovered 1927. Introduced 1928 or 1930). P unknown. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 2 watercolour studies (1873), painted by Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
