Summer Bellflower Apple
Summer Bellflower is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in New York, US (before 1848). It was grown primarily for eating. P Esopus Spitzenburg x unknown. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1873), painted by Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
