Sutton Apple
Sutton — Sutton Beauty — is a handsome red winter apple associated with Sutton, Massachusetts, and popular in New England orchards through the later nineteenth century. Roundish and striped crimson over a yellow ground, it offers crisp, mildly sub-acid flesh and good keeping quality. It was documented by the USDA among the region's market apples.
