Turley is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Indiana, US (introduced 1922.). It was grown primarily for cooking. P Winesap x unknown. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 6 watercolour studies (1872–1875), painted by James Marion Shull and Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
