Willis Sweet Apple
Willis Sweet is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Long Island, US (c. 1800). It was grown primarily for eating, cooking, baking.. Width 83 mm, height 73 mm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1875), painted by Royal Charles b. Steadman, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
