Worcester Pearmain Apple
Worcester Pearmain is a heritage apple cultivar that originated in Worcestershire, England (introduced 1873). It was grown primarily for eating. Conical, entirely covered with scarlet. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 2 watercolour studies (1873–1875), painted by Royal Charles b. Steadman and Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
