Yellow Ingestrie is a heritage apple cultivar from Shropshire, England. It was grown primarily for eating. P Orange Pippin x Golden Pippin. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with a watercolour study (1873), painted by Ellen Isham Schutt, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
