Easter Beurre Pear
Easter Beurre is a heritage pear cultivar that originated in Belgium (c1823). It was grown primarily for eating. Use December- March. The U.S. Department of Agriculture documented it with 5 watercolour studies (1872–1875), painted by Ellen Isham Schutt and Mary Daisy Arnold, as official botanical identification records made before colour photography.
